Howdy!  I'm Mark and I'm a Dublin-based director with 10 years experience in the animation industry.

 

I forged my skills at Brownbag Films and Giant Animation, wearing many hats as an Animator, Compositor and Layout Artist, before eventually moving into Supervising and Directing.  I have since creatively led teams of artists on short films, commercial series and development work for clients such as Bento Box, DreamWorks and Eaglet Films.   

 

I'm deeply passionate about drama, music and the entire process of film making.  Over the many productions I've been involved in I've learned the importance of clear guidance and informed creative decisions that benefit production.  I'm particularly focused on sound design and vocal performance, as even in the early stage of animatic build I know how helpful it can be to get the client on board with the vision.  I also love mentoring junior talent and inspiring them to produce quality work.
